38 COFFIN Prowling for Prey with "Leopard Spots"

The new single from 38 Coffin is a fuzzy and trashy banger titled, “Leopard Spots.” The song is a killer combo of old-school garage rock and aggressive punk.

38 Coffin consists of Lauren Goffin (guitar/vocals), Andre Maguire (lead guitar), Lindsay Scarey (bass), and Dain Hudson (drums). The quartet was united by a shared love of horror movies, rock and roll, and cheap thrills. Formed in Seattle, WA during the pandemic, 38 Coffin has not wasted any time since and has electrified audiences with their bombastic style of rock and roll. 38 Coffin has hit the stage alongside punk veterans The Queers, The Briefs, and The Avengers. Their biggest show to date was when they were part of the line-up of the 10th Annual Freakout Fest in 2022.

The band's first release was 2021’s Hell Ride. The album fits firmly in the Northwest garage rock tradition that 38 Coffin loves so much. 38 Coffin takes the classic garage rock and surf music sounds of the sixties and adds a modern rock layer giving their music an extra punch. While loud and aggressive, the music of 38 Coffin retains melody in the same style that classic rock bands did, allowing for their song sot become earworms infesting your brain in the best way possible.

“Leopard Spots” is just a taste of what's to come from 38 Coffin. The single is off their upcoming album Reaper Madness. 38 Coffin plans to drop the album sometime this spring.

In the meantime, the single ‘Leopard Spots” is available to download and stream. Fans can catch 38 Coffin live at a trio of club dates in Oregon. 38 Coffin will play Sam Bond’s Garage in Eugene on January 12th, Labor Temple in Astoria on January 13th, and The Bomber (at Hallow Halls) in Portland on January 14th.
