8th Studio Album Announcement for Veteran Pop-Rock Group, You Me At Six

English pop-rock and emo group, You Me At Six, have released the fourth single off of their upcoming album, “Truth Decay”. The single, titled “heartLess,” was released on December 8th. “‘heartLESS’ was a song we’ve been sitting on for years knowing it would always come out,” shares vocalist Josh Franceschi. “It’s a song about feeling insecure and yet accepting of whatever may come. I wrote this song about someone close to me in the middle ground of a break up and falling in love.”

The recent release joins tracks “Mixed Emotions (I Didn’t Know How To Tell You What I Was Going Through)”, “No Future? Yeah Right (feat. Rou Reynolds)”, and “Deep Cuts”. The group began sharing music from the new album with their fans in July of 2021.

You Me At Six consists of vocalist Josh Franceschi, guitarists Max Helyer and Chris Miller, basist Matt Barnes, and drummer Dan Flint. The group have reached global success spanning 15 years and have had two previous #1 albums in the UK. The upcoming album brings the band back to their musical roots while also providing a sound that shows what the genre is capable of in the future. Truth Decay is an open invitation into the world of growing up and all of the struggles which come with it.

“The album generally is the band doing all the things that we as a band think we’re good at and just embellishing them and finessing those ideas and just trying to do retrospective, quintessential YMAS but in 2022 and give that a new lease of life. For us we saw people around us, our peers, and some new blood coming through that were doing emo rock music again and we thought ‘well we know how to do that and we want the world to know how we do it.” - adds Franceschi
