A new dawn has risen for the Florida-based beatdown band Bodysnatcher and it has come in the form of the announcement of their brand new ep Vile Conduct. The new six track release will arrive digitally on September 3rd via MNRK Heavy and right now, you can watc h the music video for their latest single, “Human Disdain”!

Human Disdain” is three minutes of pure aggression. Right off the bat, Carter comes at you with heavy downtempo riffs with Whited hammering away at the drums. Medina’s aggressive vocals shine as he uses his talent and emotion to evoke rage at the capability humans have to do bad because of their own inner turmoils. The song ends with a devastating breakdown signaling humans beginning their destructive acts.

“‘Human Disdain’ is a song that talks about our inner demons as a collective species. We are capable of incredibly complex emotions, and unfortunately that brings in a long list of terrible thoughts and feelings that a lot of us act on and make the world a worse place. The track speaks for itself and is very to the point lyrically.”

- Kyle Carter on “Human Disdain

The music video is a sequel to the previously released single “Severed” which was released on April 24th. The song currently sits at #3 on Spotify with over 78,000 streams.

Severed” delivers bone-crushing riffs and blast-beat drums, topped with harsh vocals from Medina where he vents his anger out about betrayal but also accepting these feelings and moving on from them. Not even a minute into the song and it drops down two levels with a brutal breakdown right after Medina yells the words “CAVE IN!”, turning the song from beatdown to pure deathcore. The breakdowns are filled with heavy down-stroke chugs and hard-hitting drums and the song’s second verse switches it up again with Shope leading the charge with a groovy bass tone. Medina excels at switching from his mid screams in the verse to brutal gutturals in the chorus, which are essentially the breakdowns where the song just takes a massive left turn.

“The track "Severed" is about coming to terms with the sour feelings of resentment, hatred, anger, or betrayal, and completely and utterly letting go. Becoming fed up and accepting of these feelings is when you can finally let go and no longer even care for their existence, which is the best revenge.”

- Kyle Medina on “Severed”’s topic

The release of both “Severed” and “Human Disdain” music videos tells the complete story of a man battling with his inner Demon that continuously haunts him in his dreams which eventually leads to him accepting his feelings and becoming one with the Demon that’s been haunting him.
