Born of Osiris Release, “A Mind Short Circuiting” Weeks Before Kicking Off The Angels & Villains Tour
On the 29th of February, we received a new single titled “A Mind Short Circuiting”, along with an official visualizer via Sumerian Records. The Illinois progressive metalcore band is known for making big moves in the metalcore scene, and this song is no different. This song is a great flashback to the band’s earlier days. The band reflected on this idea, sharing,
“'A Mind Short Circuiting' embodies the essence of our roots. The combination of ethereal melodies with down-tuned guitars has helped inspire lyrics that evoke darker emotions. We are sure that our OG fans will appreciate this one.”
The new song follows the release of “Torchbearer”, the first single and music video since the band’s release of their 2021 hit album ‘Angel or Alien’.
Born of Osiris is also on a North American co-headlining tour, The Angels & Villains Tour with Georgia-based metalcore band Attila. The tour will feature support from rising deathcore bands Traitors and Extortionist, and female-led metalcore band, Not Enough Space. The tour kicks off in Louisville, Kentucky on April 12, and runs through April and May, ending on May 26 in Pontiac, Michigan. Get your tickets to the tour here.
