Dance Gavin Dance Release Surprise Song, Ghost of Billy Royalton, in Honor of Late Member Tim Feeric

The passing of the Dance Gavin Dance’s longtime bassist, Tim Feerick, came as a shock to fans as well as the band. The band was just a couple of months away from releasing their newest album, Jackpot Jucier, which was released back in July. DGD announced the tour that would be the support for the album back and the support touring with them being SiM, Rain City Drive and Destruction.

The day the tour kicked off DGD released a statement on their socials: “I made this video as a tribute to Tim, just as the song is. I made sure to incorporate Jurassic park and Star Wars which were 2 of his favorite things. This is the kind of thing I would make and just share with him and my friends. But because he’s not here, I’m sharing it with you all.
— Will

The song not only features the usual vocal talents of Tilian Pearson, Jon Mess but also Andrew Wells, and Will Swan.

Photographer & Writer

My love for concert photography came from my scrolling on tumblr in my high school years, growing more after attending Warped Tour in 2012. Earning my associates degree in the arts from Cochise College in 2017, I started hunting for my next goal. I began my photojournalism journey in 2019 after working for my local newspaper taking shots of anyone and anything. I have a background of short documentaries, video interviewing and editorial shots. My friends tell me I have a plethora of band/music knowledge that I now hope to put to good use.
