DARK DIVINE NEW ALBUM RELEASE + TOUR
Photo by Thriller RecordsOn September 8th, 2023, Dark Divine released their new album ¨Deadly Fun¨ this is one of their most heavy albums yet. They have released singles before the full release, including, Drown, Dancing Dead, and Paper Crown.
On Thursday the 7th, they had a music release of Cold before the whole album was released Friday morning. This album has a mix of sad, and heavy songs, when it was released I was surprised at how the songs sounded because they haven´t had many heavy songs in the past. It's always amazing how bands can surprise us like this and hype us up about new singles and music videos. Their new album ¨Deadly Fun¨ has made it on the billboard with +16 current hard music albums, 19+ top new artist albums, and 34+ current rock albums.
I love the way, Dark Divine had many ranges in each song to make it emotional or to make you feel like a villain. Out of all the songs, my favorite song is ¨Cold¨ because during that time I was going through a breakup and it helped me a lot when it was hard. Now that it has been a week since the song was released it's still my favorite. My favorite lyric from that song has to be
“You said you’d try to take the best of me you meant everything you said to me
What’s left if I hate the rest of me
You tried to take the best of me
You’ll never take the best of me”
Although it's really emotional to me it´s one of the best lines I have heard from that song.
