Dayseeker Announce Spring 2024 US Headliner Tour

Dayseeker seems to be that band that is in constant movement, since doors opened again to venues all across the world the quartet has been either support or headling across the country.

After forming in 2012 the band saw tremendous growth in a series of demos they released before signing to their first label. The band started touring just three months after dropping their first album supporting a fall and spring tour. Dayseeker found their success through their fourth studio album Sleeptalk and reached new heights with their fifth album Dark Sun. Lead singer, Rory Rodriguez, has expressed in interviews as well as live performances that Dark Sun was the product of the deep sea of grief that Rodreiguez had found himself in after the death of his father. Dark Sun is a deeply emotional album that navigates not only loss but the fragility of life itself, the band experimented with new sounds that moved away from their post-hardcore roots and poured in a more electric feel while keeping the intricate guitar and drum patterns of the hardcore scene.

Before the end of the year hits, Dayseeker announced their first headline US tour of 2024 with support from Polaris, Rain City Drive, Ayron Jones and Avoid on select dates. Taking a short break before, the band will then fly across the globe to headline a Australian/New Zealand tour with support from Casey and Landon Tewers.

My love for concert photography came from my scrolling on tumblr in my high school years, growing more after attending Warped Tour in 2012. Earning my associates degree in the arts from Cochise College in 2017, I started hunting for my next goal. I began my photojournalism journey in 2019 after working for my local newspaper taking shots of anyone and anything. I have a background of short documentaries, video interviewing and editorial shots. My friends tell me I have a plethora of band/music knowledge that I now hope to put to good use.
