Devitalized Release “Godslayer” Featuring Tom Barber of Chelsea Grin
The Massachusetts based multi-genre metal outfit Devitalized have teamed up with Tom Barber of Chelsea Grin to release one of the hardest deathcore collaborations of the year through the single “Godslayer”. It is a relentless Elden Ring-inspired track that combines deathcore, slam, and hardcore to showcase the raw talent in the young band. Barber brings just as much energy to the single as he would his own music, making the song absolutely brutal. Devitalized opened for Chelsea Grin at the Worcester date on the Suffer In Heaven//Suffer In Hell Tour, making it only a matter of time before the two bands crossed paths again to create something incredible.
There is a music video in support of the song via Slam Worldwide. The track has already built up plenty of anticipation for their upcoming album State Of Aggression. Previous singles “X_X”, “Deep Cuts”, and “False Reality” will also be on the album.
Devitalized is a Massachusetts band made up of John-Paul Ratta (vocals), Joseph Ratta (guitar), Zach Devons (guitar), Caleb Pells (bass), and Jonathan Godbout (drums). They are an up-and-coming band with a heart of gold and a taste for blood. They effortlessly blend the crushing breakdowns of deathcore, anthemic hooks of metalcore, and driving rhythm of hardcore.
