It’s a dream, and a groove, and its language is an object. One that leads beyond where Doughty started, into a life of greater improvisation, the aleatory, the migratory, the dilatory, hand signals, dropping in and dropping out the kid goes for broke, and here makes one of the great records of his life, a thing of its time, a thing of another time, a thing that makes dreams out of time, and a thing of great beauty, and, let it be said, acceleration, here it is the third of three, like hypothesis, antithesis, synthesis, GHOST OF VROOM 3.

Ghost of Vroom has blown audiences away with their live shows. Last year, the group did a series of improvised music residences in Brooklyn and Los Angeles over a multi-week period. Each show was a unique experience for the audience. Ghost of Vroom fully intends to promote their latest release with a US tour. Details are to be announced soon.

Ghost of Vroom debuted in 2020 with the album, GHOST OF VROOM 1 which garnered praise from critics and admiration from music fans. A year later, the group released GHOST OF VROOM 2 which saw the release of popular singles “I Hear The Ax Swinging” and “James Jesus Angleton.”

Frontman Mike Doughty certainly likes to keep himself busy. After a decade in the alternative rock scene, Soul Coughing broke up in 2000 which led Doughty to a successful solo career. Since 2000, Doughty has released eleven albums. In 2015, Doughty posted one new song a week via his official Patreon page. The count is close to 300 at the time of this writing. Doughty also found time to stage a rock opera and write two well-reviewed memoirs. Ghost of Vroom is yet another aspect of his unfettered creativity.
