ERRA Unleashes New Video “Blue Reverie” + Tour This Spring
The progressive metalcore band ERRA has released their latest single “Blue Reverie” along with an accompanying music video. The moody and melodic track is the third single off their upcoming sixth studio album CURE which will unearth itself on April 5th via UNFD.
The band took on a more experimental approach with “Blue Reverie” in contrast to its predecessors. Cash leads the way with his melodic lead vocals and the subtle guitar playing fills the verses up. The subtle guitar playing and ambient production gives “Blue Reverie” life and atmosphere while also setting a very moody tone. Even with a song that is focused more on songwriting and production rather than just chugging riffs, no ERRA song is complete without a thunderous breakdown. JT’s harsh vocals seal the deal on the crushing breakdown, delivering nothing but pure energy and chaotic feelings. “Blue Reverie” was expertly crafted with very different sections that flowed into each other smoothly, making it a very interesting but cohesive progression. Each part has space to breathe and have its moment while feeling balanced and not rushed.
In addition to the single announcement, the band has also announced they will be going on tour this upcoming spring across North America. The trek will begin on April 23rd in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and will end on June 2nd in New York, NY with Make Them Suffer, Void of Vision and Novelists serving as support on all dates.
It's no secret that ERRA has built a reputation for their technical guitar-driven style and dynamic sound and with Cure, they intend on expanding that even further. Following the successful release of the band's self-titled 2021 album, the band combined their raw talent and incredible skill of technicality to produce Cure. It is by no means easy for a band to make an album that's both emotionally powerful AND musically skilled, especially on the progressive side, and yet ERRA accomplishes this with ease. Strap yourselves in, 'cause Cure is bound to take you on a thrilling ride, one that will seem never-ending and will leave you begging for more.
