Fame on Fire Announce New Album The Death Card and Share Live Video of “Nightmare (The Devil)”

Fame on Fire has been making waves in the hard rock and metal scene this year, putting out 2024 single, “Nightmare (The Devil) which has hit #15 at Active Rock Radio, and has racked up over 50 million total views/streams upon becoming viral on TikTok. The band shared a live video for this song, filmed on their spring 2024 tour with SiM.

Consisting of singer Bryan Kuznitz, Blake Saul (guitarist), Paul Spirou(bass), and Alex Roman (drums), Fame on Fire has been a well-known name since their 2017 EP Transitions. Originally, Fame on Fire was known for their innovative covers, which is what brought them into the spotlight. In 2020 the band released LEVELS, the album that fast-tracked them into the spotlight. “HEADSPACE” (feat. POORSTACY) racked up 13.1 million streams on Spotify alone. This album also put them on the octane accelerator tour that year with upcoming artists Zero 9:36 and Garzi. The success of this album was followed by even greater success in 2023 with the release of Welcome To The Chaos. This album brought a completely new sound out of the band, putting them into the top 15 at Rock Radio, the band was able to tour with Falling in Reverse, Ice Nine Kills, and ONE OK ROCK.

The success of this album led them to begin working with producer Erik Ron, known for producing bands such as Godsmack, Motionless in White, and Panic! At The Disco. As it was their first time working with a producer, it was a new journey for the band, but vocalist Bryan Kuznitz greatly to why the album was as cohesive and lyrically developed as it was.

The upcoming album, The Death Card is set to release on September 6, via Hopeless Records, and is available for pre-order here. The album alludes to the idea that in tarot ‘The Death Card’ is about closing one door and stepping into the next. Bryan mentions,

"You're killing your past and moving on to the future, which is usually better. The idea started because of this card. We were leaving a lot of mistakes behind and embarking on the next chapter. There's a sense of salvation. For us, this is the new era of Fame on Fire."

The band is also celebrating the release of their third single from the album, “Suicide (The Lovers)”, which displays the drama of a classic tragedy. It truly lives up to its name, highlighting cinematic style keys and hooks, alongside a powerful spoken-word bridge: “Dear beloved we are here today in the final resting place to seal their fate”. The song is intended to be something of a Romeo and Juliet-style story.

“With ‘The Lovers Card,’ you’re sacrificing your life to make a relationship work”

- Bryan Kuznitz
