Hatebreed Celebrates 30 Years

Photography By Sam Valente

Legendary Connecticut hardcore band Hatebreed celebrated 30 years as a band with a killer NYC show at Terminal 5 with a set that spanned the ages. Crowd favorites and deep cuts from The Concrete Confessional all the way back to Under The Knife kept people moving and screaming along all throughout their performance.

Opening with a montage from scene contemporaries and luminaries congratulating the band on 30 years of dominance, the stage was set for an energetic night of nostalgia and and reverence for a band that influenced countless others.

From the opening notes of “Destroy Everything” to the closing chants of “I Will Be Heard,” Hatebreed kept the audience engaged with anecdotes and trivia from their history as well as a blistering onslaught of classic metallic hardcore, and left everyone wanting more. Here’s to another 30 years.

Also, the ball of death needs to be a thing at more shows.
