It’s finally here, the brutal UK-based deathcore trio INGESTED have released their highly anticipated seventh studio album The Tide Of Death And Fractured Dreams via Metal Blade Records. The Tide Of Death And Fractured Dreams is the most recent body of work that came from the band’s vast creative run that they have been on, beginning with the release of their fifth album Where Only God May Tread in 2020. The band would then put out an album almost every year with their next two releases being The Surreption II in 2021 and Ashes Lie Still in 2022. Each release showed the bands growth on a creative level which came from constant hard work, practice, and writing. The Tide Of Death And Fractured Dreams further proves the band can one-up their performance and continue to be more innovative and destructive.

In celebration of the release, the band gave us another music video off the album for “Endless Machine”. The music video is a performance video of the band from when they were supporting Lorna Shore on the Pain Remains European Tour.

Endless Machine” comes at you with all guns blazing. Evans delivers a powerful combination of demonic growls and high pig sequels which helps convey the angry message of being stuck in the same old routine every day in life and wanting to break out of it. Jeffs comes at you with ferocious blast beat drumming and rapid fire double kicks which also helps back up Hynes heavily layered, bone crushing riffs.

“‘Endless Machine’ is about the day to day grind you get stuck in, when you haven’t found the courage to get up and take charge of your own situation. Take a deep breath, embrace the risk, and don’t get stuck in an endless machine with no way out. So, sink your teeth into the live mayhem of this new video and expect the same carnage on our upcoming tour with Fallujah, Vulvodynia and Mélancolia.”

- Vocalist Jason Evans on “Endless Machine”

Endless Machine” is the band’s third music video for the album, following its predecessors “Paragon Of Purity” and “Pantheon”.

The Tide Of Death And Fractured Dreams was self-produced by the band alongside recording engineer Nico Beninato and features guest vocalists Mark Hunter of the legendary Chimaira and Josh Middleton of Sylosis on the songs “In Nothingness” and “Expect To Fail” respectively.

INGESTED is set for a month-long headlining tour across Europe this month in support of the new album. The tour will begin on 4/17 in Bristol, UK and will conclude on 5/19 in Haarlem, Netherlands. Fallujah, Vulvodynia, and Mélancolia will serve as support.

I’m a photographer from Long Island, NY. I’ve been going to shows for as long as I can remember and about three years ago, I took up photography as a hobby. Initially, I was only doing street photography and eventually I took my camera to shows and began shooting shows in Brooklyn and Long Island. I’m always looking for ways to improve my work and push beyond what I can do.
