King Woman Releases NSFW Music Video for 'Psychic Wound'
On June 30th, the metal band King Woman released their NSFW music video for their second single ‘Psychic Wound’ off the sophomore album “Celestial Blues” which is set to be released on July 30th. This outfit features songwriter, vocalist and “tour de force of gloom and woe” (Rolling Stone) Kris Esfandiari. This one woman project perfectly blends elements of sludge, doom, death metal, and goth which gracefully sets the tone to be both crushing and eerily sensual.

Esfandiari explains:
“‘Psychic Wound’ is about paying the price for eating forbidden fruit. When desire turns into obsession it can keep you longer than you intended to stay and nearly destroy your sanity.”
The video itself shows a lot of blood, as well as women caressing each other while covered in it. Esfandiari spends most of the video on a slab in lingerie, chaps, and fangs. Between the mix of panic and sexiness, the mixture is evident throughout the video along with the track making it vulgar and scandalous. This one woman project perfectly captures the allure and attention with her craft.
