KNIFE Announces New EP, “Live Leather Hounds”

German speed metal band KNiFe has announced the release of their new EP, Live Leather Hounds. The new album is set to drop on August 23, 2024, via Napalm Records. The EP was recorded live during the 2023 “Evil Obsession Tour” which saw Knife share the stage with legendary trash metal band Sodom in 2023.
The intensity of KNiFe’s live performances is in full view in the band’s official video for “White Witch/Black Death.”

Live Leather Hounds was recorded live at the Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen and the Obertraubling Eventhalle Airport in Regensburg. The EP captures the exciting mix of old-school metal and punk that KNiFe incorporates into their sound. The bombastic “White Witch/Black Death” opens Live Leather Hounds. It is followed by the punk rage of “Inside The Electric Church.” The track “Black Leather Hounds” has the band playing black metal. On “Heaven Into Dust” KNiFe takes on classic speed metal. “I Am The Priest” is a thrash and hardcore punk mash-up. The EP includes a special studio track titled “Metalized Blood”. The track features guest vocals from Guido "Sataniac" Wissmann (Desaster) and Gerrit P. Mutz (Sacred Steel).
In addition to digital downloads, Live Leather Hounds will be available on vinyl. Exclusive to Napalm Records mail-order will be a 1LP Translucent Red Slipcase and a 1LP White Slipcase. Each LP is restricted strictly to 100 copies worldwide.
KNiFe views the release of Live Leather Hounds as a special gift to their devoted fans who have supported them and whose presence at their concerts adds so much to the live experience.
