Fans of Lauren Jauregui have been highly anticipating the release of her first solo album. Since the break-up of Fifth Harmony, Jauregui has already released well-regarded singles as a solo artist and as a collaborator. The release of her own album, entitled Prelude, is not just exciting for Jauregui’s fans, but for the artist herself as well.

Deep gratitude to be able to finally birth the beginning of this project into the world. ‘Prelude’ is a piece of my heart, and I can’t wait for you all to hear what that sounds like,” said Jauregui.

The career of Lauren Jauregui has seen quite an impressive evolution. She made her national television debut at the age of sixteen as a contestant on X-Factor. Her appearances on the popular program led to her joining the all-girl group, Fifth Harmony. After recording three albums the group broke up and Jauregui pursued a solo career. She has since become an in-demand singer/songwriter known for her successful collaborations with established artists and producers.

We’ve been able to experience a taste of Jauregui’s new solo project with last year’s release of the singles, “50ft” and “Lento,” featuring reggaeton artist Tainy. The music videos for these songs have received millions of views on various digital platforms.

Also announced will be a special presentation by Jauregui on Moment House (get tickets here), the premium social live media platform that brings ticketed events to viewers at home. Jauregui will perform songs off Prelude for the first time live. Jauregui’s performance will be theatrical involving dancers and costume changes and presented in a dream-like setting. The show will be directed by Matthew Daniel Siskin who previously has worked with Beyonce, 6LACK, and Florence and the Machine.
