MAX at House of Blues in Las Vegas

At MAX’s first headlining Vegas show, the energy was unmatched. With smaller venues, like House Of Blues, the intimacy and energy of the show is on another level compared to larger shows. MAX got everyone in the crowd dancing, singing, crying, and laughing. There was never a dull moment. We got to hear some throwbacks, like “Lights Down Low” and the song “Someday” from the movie Rags that he did ten years ago! We also got to hear his newest song, a beautiful number called “Worst Day,” for one of the first times live. He even brought his opener Sara Kays out to sing “Butterflies,” which was a beautiful slowed-down harmony that the crowd absolutely loved. And then, of course, a favorite, “Blueberry Eyes,” has some verses in Korean!  I must mention his saxophonist, Cody Dear, because he truly brought the show to another level. There were some really beautiful moments when the music was cut, and it was just the crowd singing, filling up the whole venue. It was one of those moments that just give you goosebumps, and you want to live in it forever. The joy it brought Max and his band was so apparent, and it was really beautiful to be a part of. It was such a fun show that I wouldn’t want anyone to miss out on it! Go check his tour dates and see if you can catch a show near you.
