OH BONDAGE UP YOURS FEST Returns To NYC For Two Days of Female Garage, Rock and Power Pop

From the same rock and rollers who put on the wild and raucous Fear City Fun Fest comes another showcase of the best punk, power pop and garage rock bands, the Oh Bondage Up Yours Fest.

This will be the second year of the Oh Bondage Up Yours Fest. The festival is named after the groundbreaking song, “Oh Bondage Up Yours!” by English punk band X-Ray Spex led by Poly Styrene. Just as Poly Styrene paved the way for women to rise in the music scene, the Oh Bondage Up Yours Fest presents two days of women and non-binary musicians rocking out.

An impressive array of bands is lined up for this year’s Oh Bondage Up Yours Fest. Headlining the Friday night show will be the garage rock band Miranda and the Beat and hardcore punks Judy and the Jerks. Rounding out Friday night will be Mirrored Hell, Linda and the Losers, The Trashers, The Tasteless Treats, Badzy, and Femcel.

Saturday’s show will feature a power pop performance by the legendary Nikki Corvette. A must see band on Saturday night will be the newcomers to the scene, Haley and the Crushers, who will serve the audience their signature brand of glitter trash. The bands FAFA, Silver Dagger, Phagocyte, Frida Kill, and Tracy City will also hit the stage on Saturday night.

Oh Bondage Up Yours Fest will be held at TV Eye in Ridgewood, Queens on Friday June 7th, and Saturday June 8th. Tickets for individual days are $30. There are limited weekend passes available for $50. Get your tickets here & event page here
