Finnish metalcore band, ONE MORNING LEFT dropped their latests single and music video for "Emerald Dragon" featuring Jake Luhrs of August Burns Red, out now via Arising Empire!
"Emerald Dragon" is a music video that has garnered attention for its visual style, reminiscent of The Prodigy's famous "Smack My Bitch Up." The video's dynamic and creative visuals effectively match the energetic pulse of the track, offering a compelling viewing experience. The song itself reflects One Morning Left's creative approach to metalcore, mixing their distinct style with inspirations from well-known figures in the genre. ONE MORNING LEFT's fourth album Hyperactive marked their first new material in five years. Throughout the song, it’s evident the style and sound takes from melodic metal jam packed with their signature style. The collaboration is a new step in their career after all their success from their previous releases. The group began a whole new chapter in their story, drawing inspiration from retro electronic and video game music, as well as '80s hard rock, while staying true to their heavier roots.
Changes have been afoot not only in the band's musical style, but also in their lineup. Returning from the cast of 2016's Metalcore Superstars were frontman Mika Lahti, guitarist/vocalist Leevi Luoto, and drummer Niko Hyttinen. Additional firepower was provided by new faces Tuukka Ojansivu on guitar and Miska Sipiläinen on bass guitar, as well as the return-to-form of keyboard player Touko Keippilä from the band's original Panda <3 Penguin lineup.
