One of the Last Makes Triumphant Return

Photography By: Sam Valente

One of the Last, a NY/NJ based hybrid metal band made their return after a long time away from the stage to an eager crowd at Brooklyn’s Lucky 13 Saloon. Featuring a lineup consisting of returning members Parker Ellis and Mario Sleziak on guitar, John O’Connor on vocals, as well as new members bassist Jerry Leonardo-Pacheco and drummer Daniel Touw, they ripped through some old favorites as well as newer singles like Gold Standard and Red Flag. With a sound ranging from nü-metal to NWOAHM styled metalcore, they kept the crowd going during their half hour set with powerful vocals as well as some truly crushing breakdowns and tasty solos.

Here’s to hoping we don’t have to wait another three years for their next performance.
