Following the release of the new single “Please End Me”, Paleface Swiss have announced their first US headlining tour, Fear & Dagger. The tour will be supported by Enterprise Earth, VCTMS and Crown Magnetar. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here.

We can’t wait to hit the streets of the US once again and finally visit Canadian cities. Not only did a small Swiss boy’s dream come true by touring the US for the first time this year, but returning with our own headline tour is mind-blowing for us. The excitement of seeing familiar and new faces singing along to our songs has us hyped for September and October. It will be a long ride, but one that will be totally worth it! WE CAN’T WAIT, NORTH AMERICA!

2023 has been an absolute rager year for the band as they have been touring for their 2022 album Fear & Dagger. They started with their very first US tour with Bodysnatcher, Angelmaker and Distant, who saw insane moshpits and hoards of new fans at every stop of the tour. “Best Before: Death” became a fan favorite to hear live, followed by their newest single “Please End Me”.

Following the US tour, they returned to Europe where they sold out major cities with Counterparts, Kublai Khan and Dying Wish. They played a brutal set at Hellfest, which was live-streamed and can be watched here. They also played at Jera On Air in the Netherlands, followed by Vainstream and Full Force festivals in Germany and Fatjfest in Czech Republic. Their US run will be kicked off at Blue Ridge Rock Festival in September.

Since the release of their third album, Chapter 3: The Last Selection, Paleface Swiss have gained international recognition in the deathcore and beatdown communities. Being most well known for their aggressive riffs, brutal rhythm section, Zelli’s outstanding vocals and being the heaviest band in Switzerland, they have gained 40 million streams and 6.7 views on YouTube.

Paleface Swiss was formed in 2017 in Zurich, Switzerland by Marc ‘Zelli’ Zellweger (vocalist) and Colin Hammod (CJ) (drummer) after meeting through a mutual friend. After bonding through their shared love for betadowns and hardcore music, they shook hands at a concert and agreed to make the craziest beatdown band ever together. In 2018 they released their debut album, Chapter 1: From The Gallows. They played their first show in October of 2018 and gained popularity, especially through their song “Deprivation Method”

In 2019 they began the writing process for Chapter 2: Witch King to continue with the dark story they created with their debut. Chapter 3: The Last Selection was released on October 30, 2020, spawning four huge tracks. “Curse Us”, “The Rats”, “Lights Out” and “Skalpell” each ranked highly in beatdown/hardcore charts and the band became the cover for Spotify’s Heavy Beatdown playlist.

In 2022 they released their most brutal album yet, Fear & Dagger. This was considered a huge step up for the band as they began to gain even more recognition. The album spawned “The Orphan”, “Deathtouch”, “Dead Man’s Diary” featuring Florent Salfati (vocals for LANDMVRKS and the fan favorite “My Grave/Lay With Me”. The album focuses in on mature and critical topics related to the fear and struggle young people have to bear in the 21st century, especially mental health.

It’s fun to get caught up in Paleface’s unrelenting instrumentals, but Zelli’s really the star of Paleface. This is largely because he treats his screams like rap bars.

The album’s technical proficiency and no-holds barred brutally, combined with Zelli’s unique delivery and emotional lyrics stuck with fans worldwide and has racked up 15 million cross platform streams, nearly 1 million YouTube views and their monthly listeners on Spotify went up 300%, currently at 320K.
