Shower Curtain Release New Music Video for Their Newest Dreamy Single, “Benadryl Man”
Shower Curtain is a four-piece located in NYC and is led by Brazilian-American, Victoria Winter. From humble beginnings to the release of their first full length album coming in mid-October the band has set out their newest single in the world.
What can be described as a voyage through the hazy brain of insomnia, benadryl man has just the right amount of tinged dreamness mixed with an edge of paranoia.
Ahead of their release, the band dropped their first single wish u well in early August. “‘wish u well’ is about the feeling of having the rug swept from underneath you,” says bandleader Victoria Winter. “In a lot of ways, I think this song is a lot of what my teenage self wished the project could create. That vision has long changed and I am definitely aware of this song not having the more shoegaze and heavier grunge elements that represent the project's new phase and is more similar to the old phase of Shower Curtain. Yet, I still think its production is unmatched and next level between Ethan and I.” (via Fire Talk).
