Sleep Theory Releases “Gone Or Staying” Music Video
Sleep Theory, a breakout four-piece band comprising vocalist Cullen Moore, guitarist Daniel Pruitt, bassist Paolo Vergara, and drummer Ben Pruitt, had a remarkable year in 2023. The band's monthly streams reached almost 11 million, and they had a Top 10 track at Active Rock. Moreover, they had a full slate of touring that lasted until early summer, and their fanbase grew exponentially. There seems to be no stopping Sleep Theory, as they have more music in the works and show no signs of slowing down.
The video, driven by its story, perfectly captures the melancholic theme of the song - holding onto a toxic relationship when it's better to let go and burn it all to the ground- quite literally. The video is beautifully bathed in blue tones.
The band has shared that "Gone or Staying" is a special song to them, and in their music video, they aimed to capture the tension between a couple's relationship as it comes to an end and the grieving process of letting go of what once was. Throughout the video, Cullen is seen walking through what once was and eventually burning his past to move on.
The band's Paper Hearts EP is now available via Epitaph Records. It has been streamed over 87 million times.
Sleep Theory is currently on tour with Wage War and Nothing More during the spring season. The band is scheduled to perform at various festivals including Sonic Temple, Rock Fest, So What?!, Welcome to Rockville and more. You can find all upcoming Sleep Theory tour dates below.
