SUGAR BONES Discovers Newfound Clarity On "I Feel Feelings”
Soulful rock band Sugar Bones has announced the release of their latest single, “I Feel Feelings.” The track is a heartfelt exploration of the labyrinth of emotions that result when a person experiences a newfound sense of clarity after a personal trauma.
Lead vocalist Corrin Cruz pulls listeners in with her powerful voice that conveys heartbreak and wistfulness. Cruz puts a lot of emotion into her singing and “I Feel Feelings” exemplifies the type of emotive style she has developed with Sugar Bones. This track is of particular importance to Cruz and her bandmates.

Sugar Bones combines alternative rock with elements of blues, funk, and disco to create a truly exhilarating personal style. The band cites inspiration from bands as varied as No Doubt, Lenny Kravitz, Chic, and Lucius. Cruz is backed up by a tight band of musicians who add a personal flair to every song. “The Wailin’ Venezuelan” Alejandro Castro infuses a Latin flavor with guitar stylings. High energy and precise drumming by Trevor Sellman provide the perfect sense of rhythm for Sugar Bones. The band's foundation is held by bassist Rich Britton (who co-founded Sugar Bones with Castro).
“I Feel Feelings” is out now on all digital platforms. Sugar Bones has also announced a couple of gigs this fall. The band will play at the Manette Saloon in Bremerton, WA on September 21st and at Southgate Roller Rink in Seattle, WA on November 1st.
