The First Show I Ever Shot

Alright, now let’s go back in time to the first show I ever shot, it’s February 21, 2019. The day before had just snowed here in vegas, and holy cow, it was beautiful. Let’s go to downtown Las Vegas to a dope venue called “The Space”. I go in, and I'm like, “I've never shot a show before, but these are the homies, let’s do this!”. Lucrecia X A Perfect Being, headlining starting off their US West Coast tour. And me, just excited to be there with my camera. Doing something I've never done before. Lucrecia, anime intoxicated, progressive metalcore, native to the bay area of California. Coming at you with two amazing vocalists. Frankie and Jacquie. Being the founders of this masterpiece of a band. This night, they started it off with heavy breakdowns with crazy screaming from both Jacquie and Frankie.

A Perfect Being, a 5 piece, straight heavy metalcore band from Las Vegas with lead guitarist Chris Roupp from the classic deathcore band Impurity of Myria from Las Vegas. These guys are the definition of metalcore right up there next to As I Lay Dying being the kings of Metalcore. A Perfect Being knows their way around. Lenny slapping it up on the bass, Chris on guitar riffs, and the vocals from Jon being intense as can be. Being able to know these guys, and then shoot for them was needless to say a dream. They are just as good, if not better live. And know how to rile a crowd up. These guys are pure talent. Was one of the best nights. Fun, cold, and violent.
