Sophie Powers is a singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada specializing in pushing the limits of fusing aspects of rock and pop. Sophie Powers is currently signed to Atlantic Records and has cited Kellin Quinn of Sleeping With Sirens as a major influence. Taking the stage next was Loveless. Loveless is an American rock duo from Los Angeles, California currently signed to Rise Records. The band consists of vocalist/producer Julian Comeau and multi-instrumentalist Dylan Tirapelli-Jama. Stephen Haaker is the current touring drummer for the band. The duo gained notoriety from their covers on Tik Tok and ended up collaborating with The Word Alive on their song “Hate Me”. The band received enough recognition to be consistently played on SiriusXM Octane and Kerrang Radio. In just 4 years as a band they have accumulated 1.4 million monthly listeners on Spotify and 2 studio albums. Loveless just finished their first international tour prior to the beginning of this tour.
Loveless took the stage and received a massive cheer from the crowd. Loveless opened their set with “Haunting Me” from their 2021 debut album “Loveless I”. Fans bounced around the whole set. The mosh pit mentioned earlier did not go away as it was full of people jumping around having an absolute amazing time. It was time for crowd surfers to start making their way up. Dozens of people lifted by their fellow spectators as security safely caught them and guided them down. Comeau was thrilled to see everyone having a great time as him and the whole band fed off the energy of the crowd. Loveless also tossed in a mashup of their most popular covers which were “happier than ever”, “Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)” and “MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT”. The reaction from the crowd deafened the venue and had everyone singing along. Loveless ended their set with “Worst Case Scenario” from their 2022 album “End of an era”. The fans gave it their all for the last track as a few more crowd surfers went into the air as the rest of the crowd bounced around. Loveless got the crowd warmed up for the grand finale.
