Angelspit’s Industrial Tones Ring True In New Single ‘Pay the Butcher’s Bill’

Angelspit has been part of the God-tier of Industrials sounds since their first release back in 2004 and they have not slowed down since. Angelspit has put out over 25 albums as well as almost 80 remixes over their almost 2 decade span as a project and this single proves they are still alive as before.

‘Pay the Butcher’s Bill’ comes out just ahead of the release for their new album ‘The Bastard God’s’ set to release sometime this year. Some sounds stand the test of time and with the cyberpunk era of music making a comeback, Angelspit is definitely at the top of the throwback playlist. With the single being described as ‘is the soundtrack to robots making love – it’s raw, sexy, grinding industrial.’ The track sounds like it belongs on a soundtrack of a new Cyberpunk movie, a club scene from John Wick or blasting on the radio in a Hot Topic, this song belongs on your ‘NightcorexIndustrial’ playlist.

Photographer & Writer

My love for concert photography came from my scrolling on tumblr in my high school years, growing more after attending Warped Tour in 2012. Earning my associates degree in the arts from Cochise College in 2017, I started hunting for my next goal. I began my photojournalism journey in 2019 after working for my local newspaper taking shots of anyone and anything. I have a background of short documentaries, video interviewing and editorial shots. My friends tell me I have a plethora of band/music knowledge that I now hope to put to good use.
