Cassetta Release “Thin Blue Crime”

Cassetta is a new project based out of Los Angeles. They have recently released “Thin Blue Crime”, a track that has influences from the heaviest, darkest places to create a pummeling wall of sound. Kevin Fifield produced the song and was mixed by Jeff Dunne (Make Them Suffer, Veil Of Maya, Motionless In White, etc.). The music video is out now and was directed by Brad Alexander.

Thin Blue Crime is a decry of state-sanctioned violence. For Manuel Ellis, Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Elijah McClain, Kelly Thomas, Trayvon Martin, and anyone else who has been murdered at the hands of the militarized state
— Conor Eaton (vocalist)

Cassetta keeps things simple, brutal, and honest. Their music takes listeners down a journey into a dark personal path through their lyrics. The band is made up of incredible musicians including Connor Eaton (vocals), Kevin Fifield (Pressure Cracks/Scars of Tomorrow), Marc Motley (The Arson Choir), Bob Bradley (Fake Figures/Scars of Tomorrow), and Alex Lopez (Suicide Silence).

They have released a two song cassette, including “Thin Blue Crime” and “Swallow the Sun”. This is available on Bandcamp as well as enamel pins and two shirt variants.
