OTTTO, the Venice Beach-based band who combines thrash metal with funk have just released a music video for the track “Skyscraper” off their debut album Life Is A Game. One of ten songs on the album, “Skyscraper” is hard and groovy and is indicative of the unique approach to metal that OTTTO brings.

The video was directed by Paul Marchand. The director has received praise for his documentaries “Jaco” and “Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me.” While gifted in presenting reality on screen, Marchand embraces fantasy in “Skyscraper” by presenting OTTTO engaged in a series of bizarre and chaotic scenarios when they play a mysterious board game.

OTTTO rocks. But man, to be honest, we all had a lot of milk to drink that day. I just remember the swell was down and the surf zombies came inland. Someone brought a board game. This kinda stuff just happens in Topanga. I think it was a Tuesday.
— says Marchand

This is the third video released off Life is Game. The previous videos were the creepy carnival-themed “Dance of the Dead” and “My Pain” which took inspiration from the skate and surf documentary Dogtown and Z Boys.

OTTTO consists of Triko Chavez on drums, Bryan Noah Ferretti on vocals and guitar, and Tye Trujillo on bass. The trio has received much praise from media outlets including rave reviews from Consequence, Juice Magazine, and Metal Injection. The band has shown real technical talent and professionalism in their music way beyond their years. The three members are just barely out of high school.

The band is currently co-headlining a North American tour with Bastardane. On certain dates on the tour, OTTTO and Bastardane will play the Metallica Weekend 2023 Takeover. Those dates will be a family reunion as Tye Trujillo is none other than the son of Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo and Bastardane’s Castor Hetfield is Metallica frontman James Hetfield’s son.
