Combichrist's New Era of Industrial Metal Fury Is Out Now: Album "CMBCRST"
Industrial metal legends Combichrist have unleashed their fifth album CMBCRST. Combining blistering heavy metal with electronic elements, Combichrist has created a signature style that has made them a dominant force in the industrial music scene.
Formed in Atlanta, GA by Norwegian vocalist Andy LaPlegua, Combichrist has been a major force in promoting industrial metal through their intense live performances. Combichrist finished a US headlining tour which climaxed at a stellar performance at the Sick New World festival in Las Vegas, NV.
CMBCRST features 14 unrelenting tracks. Each track is an explosive display of thrashing guitars and pulse-pounding beats. While every song on CMBCRST is brutal and intense, there are certain tracks worth highlighting as uniquely provocative. "Only Death Is Immortal" and "D for Demonic" features a raw, in-your-face production. "Children of Violence'' and "Wolves Eating Wolves" highlight the band’s haunting lyrics and theme of surviving in the face of bitter betrayal. "Violence Solves Everything PTI” and "Violence Solves Everything PTII (The End of a Dream)" are a combustible collection of sound configurations that provide a fierce aural experience.
CMBCRST is out now via Nuclear Blast Records. The album is available both digitally and on CD. A special CD double digipak includes a full-length bonus CD with 9 exclusive songs. Limited to 666 pieces worldwide is a wooden fan box that includes the digipak 2CD, bonus CD “Old School Show Live in Glasgow,” back patch (26cm width), key chain (bottle opener), printed leather wristband, folded Din A2 poster, and a certificate. Out of Line also has produced a limited edition pink with black vinyl and for the first time a zoetrope vinyl.
