Dead American Announce New Album "Attention Deficit" + Share "Hate It" Video
On December 4th, a band Dead American released a brand new music video for a song ‘Hate It’. Today I’m going to dive deeper in the track.
Dead American are Cove Reber (vocals), Chad Jordan (guitar), Steven Ryan (guitar), Kyle Rosa (drums), and Marshall Gutierrez (bass). The band announced a new album called ‘Attention Deficit’ coming up on February 14th via Velocity Records. For now the band released four singles out of the album with ‘Cutting Yourself Out’ described as “one of the darkest songs the frontman have ever written”.
‘Attention Deficit’s’ tracklist:
1. The Way I Feel
2. Into Oblivion
3. Sleep
4. Piece By Piece (Feat. The Used)
5. ADD
6. Hate It
7. Playing With Matches
8. Lost In The Mainframe
9. Cutting Yourself Out
10. Nothing At All
The song starts with synths that turn into powerful guitar, bass, and drums after a while. The track is an emotional one and I really like that. It has some beautiful and truthful lyrics. The songwriter says that they hate feeling alive and that really touched my heart. The song is also dedicated to someone we don’t know for now. It also ends with synths which I find interesting.
