Debut EP for World Gone Cold

This is a very diverse collection of songs. The writing seemed to come very natural for us. There was no strain or argument for what the sound became it just kind of kept evolving from song to song. It felt as if we were on some sort of quest to keep blending and manipulating the boundaries of modern metal and pop combined. There was no shame in this process. Each member added their own vibe unapologetically and I think that clearly shows throughout the EP.

World Gone Cold, the new metal supergroup on the scene, is gearing up for the release of its debut EP. The quintet consists of members Ryland Raus (Attack Attack! & Inhale/Exhale), Mark Anthony (The Letter Black), Andrew Stanton (Disciple), Tim “Yogi” Watts (Demon Hunter), and Traa Daniels (P.O.D).

Individually, each member of World Gone Cold brings a unique talent to the group; together, the skills of each member complement that of the other to develop tracks fans around the globe have been craving.

The quintet will release its seven-track EP on March 17th. Two singles dropped in February, alongside one additional track in March. Tracks released from the upcoming EP include “Opposites Attract,” “Apology,” and “Burn.”

The EP, produced by Rockfest Records, features a uniqueness that stands out. World Gone Cold is a talent that delivers catchy and memorable lyrics that will keep listeners talking for years.

Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of interviewing the group regarding their upcoming EP, past, and plans for the future. I asked the group their plans for the coming months—their answer was, “WORLD DOMINATION. Haha honestly though, we just want to put out all this music we’ve been sitting on for the last couple of years. We want to tour and have a good time with the fans!” After listening to this EP cover-to-cover, I’m confident 2023 will be one to remember.
