'Disco Metal Tour' to Launch This April Featuring Makes My Blood Dance & More

Brooklyn-based band Makes My Blood Dance has been thrilling audiences with their unique blend of metal, glam rock, and electropop which has variously been described as dance rock, metal for theater kids, goth metal, or goth opera, but perhaps more accurately it should be called disco metal. That’s the name of the band’s new tour which will see Make My Blood Dance bring their style of danceable hard rock to fourteen cities.

Makes My Blood Dance invited a diverse group of acts to support them on the Disco Metal tour.  On certain dates, the opening act will be the Long Island-based alternative rapper Edwrds. On other dates, the electronic rock band Cedars will open the show. In addition, Makes My Blood Dance has also invited special guests to add to the show’s line-up at each stop of the tour. These bands range through various genres including electropop, hip-hop, heavy metal, and alternative. Each stop on the tour practically becomes a festival with line-ups jam-packed with up to seven acts in some cities. A full list of every act on the tour is available on the Makes My Blood Dance official website.

The Disco Metal tour is in support of the latest release from Makes My Blood Dance, the single “Together Apart.”  Response to the video has been overwhelmingly positive. With beautiful dancers and lead singer Evan Russell Saffer glamming it up in a shiny suit and eyeliner while the band rocks out, “Together Apart” fully displays the extravagant style of Makes My Blood Dance. The video for the single has garnered more than 15,000 streams on Spotify and over 17,000 views on YouTube.

Makes My Blood Dance has partnered with social influencers in the online rock and metal community to promote the Disco Metal tour. Fans can expect ticket giveaways to any date on the tour if they follow Makes My Blood Dance on their social media.

The Disco Metal tour is the best chance for people to experience the awesome showmanship that Makes My Blood Dance has brought to the metal scene. Their energetic shows have rocked clubs across the east coast and now with a group of like-minded party bands. Hardcore fans and new listeners will certainly enjoy the Disco Metal tour as it will be a real highlight of the upcoming concert and festival season.
