On September 17th, Eidola released their new album, The Architect. This album is a collaboration between the band, Blue Swan Records, and Rise Records, and it packs a punch. With the singles already released creating lots of excitement surrounding the album, Eidola had high expectations to live up to - and they delivered.

With 12 tracks total, all packed with power and poignant lyrics, Eidola’s The Architect does not disappoint. Their style has solidified over their career, focusing on bombastic percussion and vocals that never fail to impress. And, with new guitarist, Sergio Medina, the riffs and harmonizations are an extra layer of talent. The album’s familiar style can appeal to older fans, while also allowing newer fans to get into their sound. With the release of four singles before the album’s release, the album already proved itself to be hard-hitting and full of great music.

Featuring slower and more toned down “Occam’s Razor” and “Alchemist Ascendant”, alongside strong and booming songs like “Mutual Fear” featuring Dance Gavin Dance’s Jon Mess, Eidola creates a journey for listeners. “Caustic Prayer”, “Counterfeit Shrines”, and “Perennial Philosophy” all feature the band’s strengths and skills, nodding to their previous music while still being powerful on their own. The Architect, with its clean production, curated sound and flow, and general outstanding talent helps Eidola stand out as a rising group under Blue Swan Records.

Eidola is supporting Dance Gavin Dance on tour and will be joining Intervals on their tour beginning in November.  To see Eidola’s supporting tours, purchase tickets for Dance Gavin Dance and Intervals
