On June 29th, 2021, post-hardcore band Eidola released their new single, “Counterfeit Shrines”, along with a music video. With this announcement, the band also shared that they are working on an album with Blue Swan Records and Rise Records titled The Architect. The album will be released on September 17th, and fans are ready to hear what Eidola has in store. This single is the first song the band has released in four years, and as old fans celebrate the return, new fans are joining in and waiting in anticipation.

“Counterfeit Shrines” packs a punch with Andrew Wells’ amazing vocals and powerful lyrics, accompanied by the band’s stunning performance. The song and video are packed with religious imagery, stunning visuals, and overall is a song that old and new fans can enjoy and appreciate. This single has continued building anticipation for The Architect, which has been in the works since 2019 and postponed due to Covid-19.

The band has grown over their years of being active since 2011, and has grown in members as well - Sergio Medina is now the lead guitarist for Eidola, joining in this new era of the band’s career. And now, they are working with Rise Records along with Blue Swan Records to create an unforgettable album that will bring Eidola back into the scene with a bang.
