Eidola Releases Two New Tracks
On August 12th, 2021, Eidola released two singles from their upcoming album The Architect. The new singles, “Perennial Philosophy” and “Hidden Worship”, are perfect to set the stage for the album releasing on September 17th. With lyrical inspiration coming from theology, human emotion, and everything connecting the two, these singles are a perfect way for Eidola to create more excitement around the new album The Architect.
“Perennial Philosophy” takes inspiration from the novel of the same name, aiming to “decipher objective truths in a sea of lies and deceptions”, says vocalist Andrew Wells. A powerhouse of a song that makes you think, it will be placed as the sixth track on the album; this song gives us a glimpse at how powerful The Architect will be. The song dives into deep waters, getting introspective - and this seems to be something recurring throughout the album.
“Hidden Worship” will be the introductory track on the album, which “sets the stage for a protagonist’s journey through the end of the world to the darkest depths of hell”, Wells states. It’s a beautiful song lyrically, a perfect way to set the tone for an album that packs a punch. The Architect will be a journey for listeners to go on, and we can’t wait to sing along. It will be an unforgettable experience and one that pushes Eidola forward in the scene even more.
