ELECTRIC FRANKENSTEIN To Release 2 LP’s For Halloween

Fans of punk and garage rock revivalists Electric Frankenstein will be stoked to know that the band has teamed up with Reptilian Records to release two albums. 

Electric Frankenstein have recorded an album of covers titled Reanimated Rock.The albumcollects 13 classic songs reinterpreted by Electric Frankenstein. The tracks represent the band’smany rock and roll influences. Among the great rock legends covered in Reanimated Rock areAlice Cooper, Ace Frehley, Black Sabbath, The Cars, Reagan Youth, and The Dead Boys. Alsoincluded are lesser-known bands that Electric Frankenstein have rescued from obscurity.Reanimated Rock features performances by different lineups of the band and includes originalvocalist/lead guitarist Steve Miller, rhythm guitarist Sal Canzonieri, bass players Dan Canzonieriand Bill Gill, and drummers John Steele Gavula and Rob Sefcik.

Artwork for Reanimated Rock was provided by the devilishly talented artist Coop, Reanimated Rock will be shipped early for Halloween and will be made available for digital download and on vinyl. The vinyl of Reanimated Rock will come in two variants - Neon Pink w/ Yellow and Green Splatter, and Magenta/Hot Pink Mix in runs of 500 copies each. 

Reptilian Records has also reissued the Listen Up, Baby! LP. Fans have long considered Listen Up, Baby to be one of the best albums from Electric Frankenstein After the original label Man’s Ruin went defunct, Listen Up, Baby! was out-of-print. Original copies Listen Up, Baby! are known to command a high price on eBay. TKO revived the album in 2003 and included fleshed-out versions of the original tracks to full-length. The longer versions were taken from the split disc Electric Frankenstein did with The Hookers in 1998.

The Reptilian Records version of Listen Up, Baby! features remastered versions of the longer tracks. Listen Up, Baby! has been pressed in limited edition colored vinyl. Digital downloads are also available for Listen Up, Baby! In addition to the original album cover art by the legendary Frank Kozick, the reissue also has a new back cover courtesy of Jeremy Zombie.
