Eternal Returns Release Video For Single “Siege Sombre”
Far from the glitz and glamor of Bollywood, the metal scene in India has been providing much-needed grit and realism to the music scene in South Asia. Long neglected by the greater international metal movement, the current crop of bands in India has a commitment to hard rock that is so strong that the world has no choice but to take notice. One such band is Eternal Returns.
Based out of Thane, India, Eternal Returns is proud of their heritage. The group's name is derived from a key component of Indian philosophy. It is the concept that the universe and all life and forms of energy within it has been recurring and will continue to recur in a similar fashion and form an infinite number of times across time and space.
Eternal Returns has been touring across India for seven years now. The band has its sights set on exploring the international music scene, but unfortunately, their drummer, who is Ukrainian, is now restricted from traveling due to the ongoing war in his native country. Showing loyalty to their foreign comrade, the rest of Eternal Returns has pledged to wait for their drummer to come back before doing international gigs. In the meantime, Eternal Returns will be using session musicians for local shows.

Their new video is for the song “Siege Sombre.” It highlights the band’s melodic style that combines elements of death metal and black metal with an elevated level of technical skill.
