FANGSLINGER Debut 'The Lost Souls Saloon'
The Wild West just got weird with the debut of FangSlinger. The band is a spooky trio who play a mix of blues-rock, country music and heavy metal. Their debut single, The Lost Souls Saloon is a dark fantasy in verse that tells the tale of mysterious outlaws wandering through the arid badlands.

With personas that are epic in nature and dramatic in presentation, the dark desperados of FangSlinger are heavily influenced by the lurid and gritty genres of spaghetti western and gothic horror. Adopting the guises of vampire gunslingers, the band plays a theatrical and exciting hard rock style.
FangSlinger is both the name of the band and its lead vocalist. He is joined by Hangman Frost on guitar and BloodRose on keys and percussion. Based in the United Kingdom, FangSlinger deeply appreciates the dark corners of American culture and is just as at home in the lonesome deserts of the Southwest as they would be in the gothic ruins of their homeland.
Musically FangSlinger leans towards 90s style extreme metal genres like sludge and doom. A heavy nu-metal influence can also be heard on the track. The grunge-style vocals on The Lost Souls Saloon are filled with emotion. BloodRose’s more soft and sensual backing vocals complement the lead vocals. Her drumming is also heavy and provides the right beat for the rest of the band to play along to. Hangman Frost plays powerful chord riffs as they are melodic. The blues-tinged and country-fried influences ooze through the band’s fingers as they play their instruments.
