Frank Sinatra Platinum with New, Unreleased Tracks

Ring a ding, classic crooner fans. To celebrate the 70th anniversary of legendary Frank Sinatra’s signing to Capitol Records, Universal Music Enterprises (UMe) will release Platinum, an album collecting rare and previously unreleased tracks.

The album features newly remastered tracks spanning 1953 to 1962. Platinum presents 44 tracks representing just a fraction of the 300 songs Sinatra recorded for Capitol Records during the decade when Sinatra was his most prolific and creative. During his time at Capitol Records, Sinatra pioneered the idea of the concept album. Classics such as “I’ve Got You Under My Skin,” “Come Fly With Me,” “Moonlight in Vermont” and “Only The Lonely,” are featured on Platinum. The album also features alternate takes, a test track, radio spots, and session takes.

In addition to Sinatra news, the great vocalist's own daughter Tina Sintra hosts Siriusy Sinatra on SiriusXM. The show will run into mid-December and will feature tracks exclusive to Sinatra’s Capitol Records career. Siriusy Sinatra airs on Fridays at 5 pm, Saturdays at 10 am, 2 pm on Sundays at 2 pm, and 6 pm on Tuesdays at 6 pm.
