Hidden Figures Release "Damaged Art" Featuring Ricky Armellino

Today, Worcester, MA metal band Hidden Figures have released their latest single “Hidden Figures” which features Ricky Armellino of Ice Nine Kills and HAWK who also produced it.

"When someone close to you dies, their memory doesn't have to die with them."

The track is about the bands' experiences as individuals and as a band in the aftermath (or in the wake) of their long-time friend and bandmate Timothy Plouffe's death. It will be on the band's upcoming EP, For the Both Of Us.

About the track, vocalist Casey Evans says:

"We wanted to include a song on For The Both Of Us that was both our farewell and promise to him that we would find the strength to continue chasing the dream that he was always a part of."

Hidden Figures is an independent band based out of Worcester, MA. The band was founded by Eric Fay (bass) and Casey Evans (guitar/vocals) in 2020 after their previous band, Kerrigan, went on an indefinite hiatus following the passing of their guitarist Timothy Plouffe. The two were joined by former members of Kerrigan, Zach Sharp (guitar), and Devin LaPlaca (drums), with the addition of Nick Farrar on vocals.

The band has been able to gather support from another big name in the scene, Ryan Kirby from Fit For A King was featured on a recent track titled "Borderline". They have accumulated over 25,000 streams on their releases thus far.

A special shout out to Prey For Us Clothing for one of their shirts making an appearance in this music video.
