In Shallows Release Fiery New Single “Venom”
The New Hampshire upcoming metalcore band, In Shallows, have released their brand new fiery single “Venom”. The track is genre defining in the modern metalcore scene. The entire song perfectly balances beauty and destruction through it’s haunting atmosphere, incredible chorus, and the emotional breakdown. “Venom” is the perfect headbaning song, but also would be a great choice for anyone getting into heavy music. The band wears their influences on their sleeves and it’s easy to find relations to Motionless In White through the vocals and Currents in the instruments.
While the band has kept their sound established on their previous singles, “Phantom Grace” and “Buried By Mistake”, it’s incredibly clear that they’re breaking their own mold as a force to be reckoned with. Just like the band said, brace yourself, because there’s plenty more amazing work on the horizon for In Shallows!
In Shallows is a four piece from Keene, NH made up of Colin Trombley (vocals), Cameron Wharon (vocals/bass), Bobby Wharon (guitar), and Nick Kaene (drums). The band confidently entered the heavy music scene in 2021 with the release of their first single “Phantom Grace”. In October of the same year, they released Beneath The Surface, a five track EP with in your face breakdowns, heavy guitar riffs, and drums that hit you directly in the chest. Between the beautiful mix of screaming and singing, the band is determined to get their lyrics shoved down fans throats.
After the success of their EP, the band was eager to push even further. They once again teamed up with their producer/recording engineer, Robbie Litchfield of Hell Here Studios. This is where they recorded their cover of Post Malone’s “Hollywood’s Bleeding”, which caught the attention of many new listeners. After playing along side acts Saving Vice, ENOX, and If Not For Me throughout 2022 and with more music yet to come, it's safe to say In Shallows isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
