Juice Sells Out Hometown Show in NYC

On Friday, December 10th, Juice sold-out Irving Plaza in their hometown and they proved just why they are immensely popular. For those who don’t know, this group is a seven-piece band from Brooklyn, NY that blends the sounds of rock, pop, r&b, and hip-hop. They began embracing the diversity of their signature sound early on when they formed in Boston while attending college.

Being at Irving Plaza, the energy from the crowd was infectious from the moment you get to the front of the venue to the venue room. The fans waited patiently just before the band hit the stage then suddenly the crowd went wild chanting “JUICE!” over and over until they finally hit the stage. With an explosive roar from the crowd that bounced off the disco ball to the stage, each member walked across the stage with huge smiles on their faces while waving. Almost immediately they started off their set while the fans sang along.

Throughout their set, not only was the crowd enjoying themselves but it was evident that the band was too. Smiling, joking around, talking, and constantly looking at each other in awe of how far they had come to see all the faces at their hometown showing them love and support.

It was an incredible experience being able to capture this band live and be able to see what their music does for their fans. Between meeting some of their family members in VIP to seeing how happy everyone was, I can confidently say that these guys will make it much bigger and they certainly deserve it all.

A little background on Juice:

After graduating from college, the band recorded and released their first professional EP, 2018’s Workin' on Lovin'. With new music and two old minivans, the band hit the road for an almost non-stop year and a half of national touring. Reflecting on their touring and coming to terms with a new phase of life, Juice gathered their collective experiences into their 2019 EP, you are simply magnificent. The project confronts difficult and powerful emotions, including loneliness, lost love, hopelessness, and obsession. Since the start of 2020, Juice has released 3 singles: “DiCaprio (Love Me All the Time)”, “Konoha, and “Make Pretend, and has been featured in Ones to Watch, Alternative Press, Clash, Earmilk, and American Songwriter.
