Julius Redd Releases Second Single ‘Hello, Hello’
Tucson singer-songwriter, Julius Redd, debuts his second single, “Hello, Hello” on August 26. Julius Redd is also known as the former lead guitarist of the rock group, Tiediedheart. Julius’ newest single hones a raw, transparent recording with sharp guitar riffs, confident vocals, and a fun backtrack that floats the song along.
Admirably, Julius Redd stated on Instagram, within the span of a month, “...[he] taught [himself] how to play drums, how to record drums, and how to put together and produce this entire song with all of these various instruments by [himself]...”
Julius Redd shares his personal ruminations on the latest single:
“This piece was honestly so painful to record. I wrote this back when I was in a band called Tie Died Heart, and it quickly became a favorite. We played it so many times, and I’ve played it in so many different ways. I’ve always heard this idealized version in my head full of the best parts of each different time I’ve played it that I’ve never been able to recreate it...I’m super excited about the stuff I have planned for the future; I wish I could just put it all out there so that everyone could hear all of the different sounds I have in my back pocket, but everything’s a process. Good things come with time, and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store.”
Additionally, Julius Redd released his debut single “Dusk to Dawn” in late June 2021, initiating the beginning discography of Julius’ solo artistry.
