Knocked Loose Are Back with Drop of “Blinding Faith” + Announce 3rd Album, “You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To”
It’s been 8 months since fans have heard something new from Knocked Loose when they dropped a double single for Deep in the Willow/Everything is Quiet Now. After last week’s teaser for what’s to come and whipping their social media clean, today they dropped the most Knocked Loose single to date with Blinding Faith. It has some of the sickest riffs, breakdowns, and an even some pig squealing from frontman Bryan Garris. To go with drop, they announcement their 3rd album release, You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To set to be out on May 10th with a pre-order available now.
Formed in 2013, from Oldham County, Kentucky the world never expected this band to come out and change the hardcore scene forever. In 2016 they released their first EP Pop Culture but it wasn’t until they released their 1st full length album Laughing Tracks that they really took off. Once you hear Deadringer or Counting Worms you’re instantly hooked. Their 2nd album A Different Shade of Blue was released in 2019 which only hooked hardcore fans more with singles such as Mistakes Like Fractures, … And Still I Wander South, and Belleville. Their last release was their 2nd EP A Tear in the Fabric of Life which many agree was EP of the year in 2021. Since then, fans have awaited patiently for something new to come from this band and the wait was well worth it with the release of Blinding Faith off the soon to be released 3rd album You Won’t Go Before You're Supposed To. To furthermore surprise fans, when you take a look at the track list there’s a single, Slaughterhouse 2 featuring Chris Motionless from Motionless In White. Fans of both bands will be happy for the second part of this collaboration after Motionless In White released Slaughterhouse featuring Bryan Garris off their last album Scoring the End of the World back in 2022.
“On this album, we go the fastest we’ve ever gone; we go the scariest we’ve ever gone. We also go the catchiest and the most melodic that we’ve ever gone, and that’s the point. Instead of branching off into a specific direction, we want to encompass ALL directions.”
They’re also on tour in Europe/UK but will be back in the states in no time with one of the sickest line-ups of the year. This round, they’ll be touring with Show Me The Body, LOATHE, and SPEED.
