Long Island Band ‘Loss Becomes' Returns with Another Heavy Banger “L.O.F.”

It has been close to a year since Loss Becomes released their self-titled album back from October, 2022. Long Island nu metal and metalcore band ‘Loss Becomes’ consists of vocalist Anthony Copozzi (Thracian), guitarist Brian Tsao (Pro Chef Reacts), bassist Will Gomez (Tiger Flowers) guitarist Anthony Lopardo (Westfall Recording Company) and lastly drummer Sean Ageman (Washed Up Media). Loss Becomes delivers fans with a new release titled “L.O.F” which was released on June 19th, 2023.

L.O.F. Is an abbreviation for “Lube oil filter” Which means “Oil change.” A term my father has been using to communicate on paper of what kind of job needs to be done on a customers car. He’s been writing this down on a yellow notepad as far back as I can remember over at Nor-Bel service center. The song itself is pretty much about a personal “mental/social oil change.” Oddly enough when I saw him write it down again it felt like a good fit to title the song LO.F.
— Anthony Copozzi, vocalist

Loss Becomes gives the audience a modern take on classic metalcore with a sense of Nu Metal vibes. As the song starts, it begins with a catchy classic metalcore riff that ties in with the drums doing the double kicks. After listening to their newest single, the clean vocal choruses would remind me of Alice In Chains. Alice In Chains is a group that my parents would listen to all the time on the radio; so it gives me some nostalgia from my childhood.

Loss Becomes is currently kicking off a short tour with Lybica and Godseyes, which features the drummer of Killswitch Engage Justin Foley on guitars.
