The New England based metalcore/post-hardcore outfit, May We Meet Again, have released “Wallflower”. The track is the second single to be released in anticipation of their debut EP Words Unspoken, which is due to release this spring. “Wallflower” can be related to the work of many praised artists such as Bring Me The Horizon, Saving Vice and Invent Animate.
“To me, “Wallflower” is the perfect middle ground track for our upcoming EP, from the chorus being memorable and catchy, to the ambient and grunge-like instrumentals; this track has something for everyone. I know looking back, I’ll be proud to say this track was one of our first releases!
”
Staying true to the incredible metalcore sound they established with their first single “Lost In Time”, “Wallflower” is yet another impressive introduction to May We Meet Again into the heavy music scene. Returning to Robbie Litchfield (Saving Vice, In Shadows) of Hell Here Studios for production, mixing, and mastering was a very easy decision based off of the quality and huge success of their debut single.
“Brutal yet beautiful, the band’s sound will captivate any metal enthusiasts”
“Even with this song being their debut, it’s clear that the band already have a grasp on how to marry the brutal and the beautiful, a trait they share with many modern metalcore greats like Bring Me The Horizon and Invent Animate.”
