Poisoned Hestia Release New Music Video For “South of Here”

On 13th December band Poisoned Hestia released their new EP “Further Down” and a music video for “South Of Here” with it. Today I will listen to this track!

Poisoned Hestia are Oliver Lynch (vocals), Jimmy Doyle (bass), and Vince D. Will (guitar). They are a heavy/gothic metal band from Germany. The band was founded in 1991 known as 13th Floor.

The track starts with a vocalist whispering “Forgive me father, for I have sinned”, then the energetic guitars kick in. The song is about what happens after you die. The vocalist sings that no matter if you’re a saint or a sinner, you will still go to hell, because the land that God promised us, is closed and Karma’s gone. At the end of the song the singer says that there’s ‘nothing left you could go for’ which, for me, means that there are no mistakes that decide about your life, or about what happens after it, entirely.

I really love the energy that Poisoned Hestia offers us and even though they just published an EP, I’m waiting for new songs from them impatiently.
