Rancid Comeback With “Tomorrow Never Comes”

After not releasing any new music since their album Trouble Maker (2017) came out, the Berkeley based punk icons, Rancid, have finally returned with a new single called “Tomorrow Never Comes”. This is the first of 16 tracks to be released from their upcoming album Tomorrow Never Comes, which will be coming out on June 2, 2023 through Epitaph Records. This will be the band's tenth studio album since the band started back in 1991.

“Tomorrow Never Comes” is a song that many long time Rancid fans will love and appreciate due to the resemblance it has to their older music. It is filled with galloping drums, shouted backing vocals and guitar slashing throughout the entire song. The music video is in black and white and captures the same high energy they have in their live performances. It was produced by the legendary Kevin Kerslake, who has worked with Nirvana and Red Hot Chili Peppers. 

Rancid will be headlining the Punk Rock Bowling & Music Festival in Las Vegas on May 28th. Then they will be touring the EU/UK from June 1st-June 25th. They will also be attending the Louder Than Life and Aftershock festivals. Tickets and more information can be found here.
