Beartooth Release “Sunshine!”

After being known for having darker songs that reflect heavily on experiences with anxiety and depression, Beartooth have released a more uplifting song called “Sunshine!”. The song is a perfect summer banger that has much more hopeful lyrics compared to their previous music. They changed it up by going from their typical energetic sound to acoustic parts throughout the song, making the song ten times more interesting to listen to. The change has surprised us all, but everyone is absolutely loving it.

At the end of the day, life should be enjoyed and a Beartooth song doesn’t always have to be miserable.
— Caleb Shomo (lead singer)

The song is about seasonal depression, which is something Caleb has had to deal with throughout his entire life. It also reflects on him moving out of a dark place he was in throughout 2020 and 2021.
